"I remember all those years back when I saw my first set of Delks and thought "I’ve got to have a set of those". That was in 1992 and since then I’ve used nothing else. Why? Because they are quite simply the best alarm on the market.

As the years have progressed and my carp angling knowledge has increased the reason why Delkims are so far ahead of the others has become clearer. They are infinitely adjustable for extreme sensitivity when you need it, and when the weather is rough you can adjust them to avoid those annoying false indications. In addition to that they are tough as old boots and can survive the battering that my fishing will give them. One day I will be out in the pouring rain in the UK, the next I might be on the continent in where it might be extremely cold or incredibly hot. Either way they take the punishment and allow me to concentrate on catching fish not worrying about kit.

Running the BCAC throughout the summer months means that my fishing time is valuable and I do not suffer tackle failure at all. If something is not reliable, I will not use it. Fortunately Delks do not let you down.

More recently I have been embarking upon a series of underwater features with Carpology magazine and we have been putting different tackle items to the test.
