    Ah, het Britse weer, onvoorspelbaar als altijd en net zo goed een deel van de viservaring als al het andere. Vooral als je je net hebt geïnstalleerd voor een goede sessie aan de waterkant, je hengels uit en klaar voor actie en de hemelsluizen opengaan. Stel je dit eens voor: je hebt net de nieuwste Delkim Txi-D's aangeschaft, de trots van je tacklebox, maar als het begint te regenen, slaat ook het vals alarm toe.
    Klinkt als een nachtmerrie, toch? Maar wacht even, want ik ben hier om wat licht te werpen op deze onzin over regenachtige dagen.

It’s a myth, nonsense, poppycock to be frank.  Talked up by anglers who are going to stick to their roller style bite alarms no matter what. Seeing as we have been making bite alarms since 1992, think this proves how well they work in all weathers. We only make bite alarms so if they didn’t work we wouldn’t be here and you wouldn’t be reading this!
