All Delkim bite alarms use our unique PIEZO VIBRATION SENSING system which works by picking up the amount of energy in the line not necessarily how far it has moved. It is able to indicate, proportionally, the speed of linear line movement and vibrations from rod tip nods and terminal tackle that do not always move the line. NO CONVENTIONAL ROLLER BASED BITE ALARM CAN DO THIS. The almost infinite range of sensitivity/response adjustment can be finely tuned to suit all conditions, methods and user preferences. This is why Delkim bite alarms continue to be the choice for experienced anglers where reliable bite indication is all important and has undoubtedly resulted in more fish on the bank for Delkim users.
Setting Response & Beep Speed correctly is fundamental in the use of the Txi-D and Txi-D v2. When set up and adjusted correctly our digital range alarms will give the user the highest degree of response and control to line movement in any known bite alarm with minimum false indications. To ensure you get the very best out of your alarms, you should read the basic rules for Optimum Bite Indication.* They come from years of experience and more recently, using the exciting new BEEP SPEED Control.
BEEP SPEED helps maintain the best speed relationship as you adjust the RESPONSE control (R) up or down. There are 5 levels of BEEP SPEED on the Txi-D v2, Level 1 is the slowest and level 5 is the fastest. The default is level 3 and this should give you good all round performance for most situations but you may want to adjust it based on the conditions and fishing style. (On the Txi-D v1 there are 8 levels and the default is level 4)
BEEP SPEED does not change the responsiveness (sensitivity) of the alarm!
- Gebruik altijd een stabiele opstelling.
- Pas de respons altijd EERST aan.
- Stel de gewenste piepsnelheid in NADAT je de respons hebt aangepast en onthoud dat snellere piepjes GEEN hogere respons betekenen.
- Stel de respons zo hoog mogelijk in, afhankelijk van de omstandigheden en de opstelling.
- Te veel valse indicaties betekent dat de Response te hoog is ingesteld.
- Pas de respons aan voor verschillende soorten en diameters lijnen, zoals nylon, fluorcarbon, vlecht enz.
- Pas de respons aan voor variërende lijnspanning van verschillende typen visuele indicators en gewichten.
- Pas de respons aan om het effect van wind, onderstroom en stroming tegen te gaan.
- Nylon/fluorcarbonlijn heeft een geheugen en het kan even duren voordat de knikken rechtgetrokken zijn, vooral bij koud weer. Een kleine verhoging van de Response kan na een tijdje nodig zijn als de lijn eenmaal rechtgetrokken is.
- Regen kan de wrijving tussen de lijn en de trillingssensor iets verminderen, waardoor een kleine verhoging van de Response nodig kan zijn.
- Werp uit, stel visuele indicators in en zet Response uit, waarbij je de lijn voorbij de Txi-D trekt om de indicator te bewegen.
- Vergeet niet dat de piepsnelheidsregeling volledig onafhankelijk van de responsregeling werkt.
- Je kunt nu een hoge respons hebben met langzame piepjes, een lage respons met snelle piepjes of ergens daar tussenin.
- Onthoud dat een Delkim geen kristallen bol is en dat je, zelfs als je hem goed hebt ingesteld, onverklaarbare piepjes uit het niets kunt krijgen die geïnterpreteerd moeten worden. Deze komen meestal van lijnaanbeten en kunnen soms een waarschuwing zijn voor een aanbeet. Erg handig als je in de buurt van snags vist.
